I’m Fadi Saghbiny, a Lebanese cinematographer and filmmaker with a double Master’s degree in Cinematography from the Lebanese University of Fine Arts and the KinoEyes European Master’s Program, where I was selected from over 500 international applicants. Initially trained in directing, I created the award-winning short Youssef and the documentary A Piece of Land, both screened at numerous festivals including the Cannes Short Film Corner. Over time, I shifted my focus to cinematography, bringing a strong storytelling foundation into my visual work.

Now active in the Portuguese film industry, I shot the graduation film Todas As Ondas, nominated for the Portuguese Sophia Awards, and the short Sink Away, which screened at festivals such as MotelX and FEST. Beyond Portugal, I have worked on short films and major TV productions for platforms like Netflix and Shahid across the MENA region.Experienced in both film and digital formats, I adapt my approach to best serve each story’s unique needs.

My career has taken me across Lebanon, Portugal, France, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Egypt, and Morocco, experiences that continue to shape my visual style. Fluent in Arabic, French, Portuguese, English, and Spanish, I thrive in international collaborations and remain passionate about fiction, documentary, and television.
